A comprehensive 1-hour consultation will help us understand your needs. This one-on-one meeting we will discuss your proposed project(s), look at what's possible on your property and determine what documents are required for a complete permit application package.

This meeting can be in-person, online or over the phone.

Whether you're renovating, building new, or adding to an existing structure, we will help ensure your application meets municipal requirements and applicable law.

Services may include:

- Initial consultation and project review to determine permit requirements.

- Coordinate with customer, designer, engineer, and/or builder to gather necessary documentation.

- Prepare and submit complete permit applications to municipality.

- Act as an Agent between customers and municipality and/or Conservation Authority during the review process.

- Address any issues or deficiencies identified during permit review.

- Provide guidance on zoning, and Conservation Authority regulations.

- Communication with municipal staff regarding application status.

- Tracking application through to permit issuance.

- Keep the customer informed about permit status and any additional requirements or modifications needed.

We can provide guidance on navigating Ontario's planning processes, helping you understand what's required and how to get it done with clear communication and without confusion. Zoning plays an important role in most construction projects. Not sure what you're allowed to build? We will review your property's zoning to help you understand what's possible, before you invest in drawings or permits. We can provide a zoning report of permitted uses, setback requirements, and provide guidance if a planning application is required.

If you are thinking about doing work or development on a property near a wetland, watercourse, steep slope or the shoreline of a lake, you may need a permit from your local Conservation Authority. We can act as your Agent to assist with this process if it applies to you.

Understanding permit and development fees can be overwhelming. We can help you navigate building fees, planning fees, if development charges apply, and if any deposits are required.
